Choosing Classes Wisely (top) (Added 11/2/05)

As you work through your program of study, it is important to choose your classes wisely. Working closely with your advisor is an important part of this process, but it is also important for students to take a look at the bigger picture when they are planning out their degree programs. Many students decide which classes they want to take before they meet with their advisor, and it is easy for the advisor to just accept their recommendations without taking a closer look at their program of study.

The problem is not that students don't know what they need, the problem is that they don't realize when the classes are offered. It is important for students to consider what classes will be offered when and which classes are considered pre-requisites to others. By doing this, students will not be caught off guard in their final semesters and not be able to take the classes they need to graduate. For a listing of when virtual classes are offered from the Leadership Studies Department, please see the course offerings schedule in the department info section of our website.

Stop Using the Save Button (top) (Added 3/27/06)

When taking an exam on Blackboard, you will find two buttons at the bottom of the page. One is the "Submit" button, and the other is the "Save" button. The e-QualityServiceMatters.net Support Staff is asking you to please not use the "Save" button. Clicking the "Save" button can cause the window to lock up or your test to freeze, making it probable that your questions will not actually be saved. If you wish to save your answers, it would be best for you to copy and paste your answers into a document that you can save separately from your test. In order for you to successfully submit your test to your instructor for grading, please only use the "Submit" button.

Instant Message Support (top)
(Added 9/19/05)
Phone Friends

The e-Leadership.net Support Staff has expanded it's support options to include instant messaging service. To utilize this option, you will need to have MSN Instant Messenger installed. Once the program is open, Students who use MSN instant messenger may add support@e-Leadership.net to their friends list and open a chat window with the support staff. There will not be set hours for the instant messaging at this time. However, we will try to have someone available during normal office hours. Students may utilize this service for:

  • Course content questions
  • Technical problems
  • Informal/fun conversations with the staff
  • Instant file transfers
  • Anything they need
