e-Quality Service Matters.net is an online service for undergraduate and graduate students designed to re-create the on campus experience in a virtual environment. Part of this initiative includes being an "online helpdesk" for students enrolled in INT coursework at Fort Hays State University. We are here to help you with your questions regarding technical problems and the program offerings.
The mission of the e-Quality Service Matters.net support initiative is to help online students and instructors interact and learn in new and innovative ways.
The INT section of e-QualityServiceMatters.net is separated into five different service areas. Each one is designed to meet a different need that you as an online students may have. These areas are:
- Department Information - is designed to provide information about the INT Department. This includes information about courses and programs.
- Student Services - includes links to University pages that many students, from time to time, need to utilize. This page serves as a centralized site for quick access to these pages. (ex. University bookstore, library, virtual college)
- Classroom Support - refers to the INT Help Desk support staff assistance. Here you will find many of the programs and downloads you will need to help you in your online classes. In addition, the staff can help you with course content and management issues. (ex. Support questions, technoloy downloads, staff profiles)
- Student Zone - is a place for students to relax and unwind. Think of this as a virtual student union where you can interact with other online students, learn more about leadership, or just play games.
- FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) - as much as we would like to, we can't offer instant support all the time. What we can do, however, is try to provide answers to many of the popular questions that students have when participating in online classes.
